Luke Shadbolt is an Australian Photographer and his last work is fascinating!

Also known for being a creative director, the artist likes to work in wide open spaces and putting himself out of his comfort zone. His work is also driven by the exploration of diverse themes such as art, surf, life-style, travelling, humour, food and animals.

Currently showing at the Michael Reid Gallery as part of the "Head On Photo" Festival of Sydney, the photos following depict an array of the Australian ocean that no man on earth has the power to face. Called "Maelstrom", the series represents a chaotic scene and picture "the duality of nature; creation and destruction in a single act. It is an exploration of the balance of light and dark inherent in nature, both on a physical and sociological level.". This will simply remind us how humanity remains vulnerable against the power of nature.
